The highest card of that suit wins the trick unless a trump card is played. Players must follow the suit of the lead player. If all 3 players pass, the dealer must play with the card being the trump suit. A single card is dealt face-up, and players can then accept it as the trump suit or pass. At the start of the game, each player is dealt 5 cards from a deck containing only Ace, King, Queen, Jacks, 10s and 9s. The game's objective is to reach 10 points first. It even includes an interactive tutorial that'll take you through the rules by playing a game.Įuchre is played by 2 teams consisting of 2 people each, with partners sitting across from each other. If you aren't that familiar with the game, we have a full explanation of how to play Euchre that we suggest you go through. The standard players play dirty. We've summarized the rules below in case you're in need of getting them refreshed. I beat the Pro players more then the Standard players. One the good side you get two different strategies between Standard and Pro. That’s excessive! Last game I had that wasn’t the case! The other downside is there is an add between EVERY hand. Also if the Ace was already played and I have the king, he’ll trump it, and I fall short! You never trump your partners point if you can’t make up the point!! By the time you need a high spade played, he doesn’t have one! Totally stupid!!! If this were a real game, by time I stopped cursing at the idiot they’d leave. I really liked this app the first couple of weeks playing, now NOT SO MUCH! It’s pretty bad when your partner plays against you! When I’m playing nil and the opponent plays a low card my partner will throw his highest spade instead of his lowest. I often lead out with spades to try to exhaust them. Plus, saving spades and facecards to the very end instead of using them to make your bid is backwards but that’s what my bot partner does and I actually have to work to prevent extra books.
I have been burned several times and other reviews have mentioned the same issue.
No human player would ever lead out with a 2 or 3 unless they knew their partner had exhausted that suit.
Humans play different when they are covering a nil bid. I only have two options to try to win, set my opponent or sandbag to penalize them.Īlso, bots do not adapt. After we have two successful nil bids, we are still behind by 50 points! Usually, when we bid nil, our opponents will get great cards and total 90 or 100, which is a glaring example because when they bid nil, my partner and I don’t get great cards and usually only score 60-70. It is a difference of 20-40 points every round. It is not a difference of 10 points, either. My partner and I are outbid and outscored almost every round. No other spades game app does this!!!Īlso, cards are not dealt randomly. Human players would never do that during normal game play. I deleted the app right after this happened. My bot partner has trumped my ace with a spade multiple times. That’s not right and very bias and needs to be fixed especially if the developers start to make this a bigger game where real money is involved BUT WAIT□ AFTER THEY SET ME UP TO WIN WITH A MISLEY 7 OF CLOVERS THESE COMPUTERIZED PLAYERS WILL LATER IN THAT SAME HAND START PLAYING THEIR HIGH CLOVERS. Pay attention to how the games player Charlotte VERY OFTEN BID 0 BOOKS and watch how you’ll see that computerized player CONSTANTLY AND PURPOSELY THROWING AWAY HIGH CARDS THAT ARE BOOKS BASICALLY SABOTAGING THEIR HAND TO NOT GET BOOKS AND GET PENALIZED 100 pts but the live player (me) can actually NOT HAVE BOOKS AND THE GAME WILL SET IT UP WHERE I FOR EXAMPLE LEAD OUT WITH A 7 OF CLOVES AND THE COMPUTERIZED PLAYERS WILL PLAY A 2, 3, and 5 OF CLOVES WHICH WOULD CAUSE ME TO WIN A BOOK AND GET SETBACK -100 PTS. The game is very addictive and the app is so clean and moves quick HOWEVER, I’ve noticed after having this app for a while a pattern of fixed games contrary to another persons opinion I saw.
